Welcome to the Fine Art of Debby Phelps.  The designs for her paintings are taken from nature, her imagination, and her personal reflections. In her drawings and paintings, Debby strives to go beyond the literal and to create strong designs that evoke an emotional response. She tries to establish a sense of poetry and mystery that invites the viewer to study and reflect on his or her reaction to each piece. Debby often uses the circle as a format for her work. Breaking with the traditional symmetrical Mandala design she strives touch the viewer’s inner creativity, core intelligence, and innate response to color and shape. Please enjoy her work.
